Steve,
Being myself somewhat pessimistic, its not often that I lavish praise upon any given individual or company. But with your obvious technical proficiency, passion for motorcycling, and brutal honesty in dealing with potential customers; if . As stated earlier, its a refreshing note that you; "tell it like it is," rather than mislead a customer for the sake of a buck. Too often I think that manufacturers and independents alike adopt the ideology of "making hay while the sun shines," while the customer almost always suffers some type of financial or emotional distress.
Based on the comments above, I can assure you that I will indeed continue to monitor your website and continuously look for ways to improve my bike. As a wise man once told me.....a bike is never truly done.
In pertaining to my bike, your observations were indeed correct in regards to the fuel/air ratio that the dealership programmed into the EFI. At this point, my only remaining option is to switch from petroleum based to synthetic oil to further reduce engine oil temperature. It would appear that at this time, I have done everything I can do to further reduce overall engine oil and exhaust temperatures. Any further refinements that I might consider and apply, I look forward to reviewing on your website. Please keep up the fantastic work as we all benefit from your diligence and support.
Sincerely,
Bruce Race
